Well I hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July. Mines was filled with neighbors blowing up their property and appendages and a brief visit from my mother.
Mom - So are you dating anybody?
Me - Nope
Mom - Why not?
Me - Just been busy to be bothered with it.
Mom - No you haven’t, busy with what?
Me - Have you not seen the yard? That was a major undertaking on my part.
Mom - Whatever. So you couldn’t have one of those boys over to help you out with the yard? Are the Chicago boys too prissy to do yard work?
